Great Travel Moment

The women of Jodhpur wore the most vibrant colors and the most ornate and beautiful jewelry I've seen anywhere in the world. They took such pride in their appearance. In most of my travels I photograph the beautiful landscapes. In India, I couldn't stop photographing the people. They were captivating and they enjoyed being photographed. The challenge was to capture them unawares as they would pose for the camera if they saw you. I took a particular interest in this woman as she had a certain elegance about her and her colors were so striking. In this photo she was negotiating to purchase some beautiful bangle bracelets.
