Great Travel Moment Our cruise ship was so small that the captain didn't think we'd be able to disembark in Santoini because of very rough seas. We were on our honeymoon & luck was on our side. There are only two ways to get to town if you arrive by the sea. Either a tram or by donkey. It has been said the best sunsets in the world can be seen in Santorini.From the Caldera breathetaking views of the volcano and neighboring islands.From the east miles of dark sandy or pebbled beaches. We were only there for a few hours but I can say that it is one of the most romantic places I've ever been. I'd love to go back there this summer for our 18th. annivesary!!!! |
