Great Travel Moment

This picture was taken on the Caribbean island of Dominica. The island is a very undeveloped country, which for that reason hosts incredible wildlife/marine life and breathtaking rainforests. The picture is special as it was taken during my 16 month sojourn of the island. My fiance was attending medical school at the time and I had choosen to accompany him on his off shore voyage. During the beginning of our trip we decided to visit the pictured rainforest. We were enthralled with the beauty of the rainforest, as we stood on one of two wooden bridges that crossed the river below us. The river is one of 365 found throughout Dominica. This image will always stay painted in our memory as it is one of the most beautiful displays of nature that we have ever experienced.
