Great Travel Moment

This photo was snapped on a mother-daughter trip to Maui, HI. The trip turned out to be a pivotal point in my relationship with my teenager. We actually realized that, along with the love, we also liked each other. This picture of perfectly balanced rocks just as the waves come in always reminds me of the delicate balance of the mother-teen relationship in the face of real world issues. Finding that balance again after each wave is crucial.
