Great Travel Moment

This photograph was taken from the Alpine Gardens on the way up Mt. Washington (NH) via the Lions Head trail. It is overlooking the slides approaching Tuckerman's ravine; a popular back country ski destination. This was a trip with a couple close college buddies. I was raised in the Adirondack Park in northern NY and always loved hiking and camping and other out-door activity. In this hectic world I could always find peace in the mountains. I was raised catholic and attended church with my mother every Sunday, but I never really saw the point. It was this sight that made me realize that God really was there and that he had created this for us. The beautiful view, the silent strength, the crisp blues sky, there is no way this was created by accident!
