Great Travel Moment I snapped this shot while plopped down on a piste in Courchevel, France. After a tepid first day of skiing, the snow had fallen two feet over New Year's Eve. I couldn't think of a better way to start the New Year -- and couldn't believe I was still getting fresh tracks at noon. Sitting down to check out the view, I had to giggle with happiness at not only the gorgeous scenery, but at the sight of my boots and skis covered in powder. For a ski bum, no picture is more glorious than that. |
