Great Travel Moment

Morning comes softly with whispers of purples and a blanket of warm blush. The country is quite and sleepy but very awake and aware of the beauty surrounding them, as if like a familiar hug from an old friend. The graceful tree stands tall, strong, and silent welcoming the new day as it greets the sun. Lake Kivu is still, waiting to be woken by a slow breeze or graceful bird dipping into its waters creating a ripple and then a wave to the shore. The air smells like a crisp campfire and as you breathe it in deep, you realize your taking in all the memories of childhood, and you feel like one with the earth, connected, and at peace... and for a short moment everything, which was once so important, seems minute against this landscape.
