Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken in Cochem, Germany at Reichsburg castle on the balcony over looking the Mosel river. Touring the castle was one of the highlights of our trip and one that will never be forget. Not only did we tour both outside and in, we had one of the best tour guides who was from the area. It was so amazing seeing all the historic things inside the castle, from all the old furniture to the pictures hanging on the walls. Music was played as we walked through each room. I remember stepping out on the balcony taking this picture thinking "I can't believe I am standing here, in a castle that was built in the 11th century". The view was just breath taking. You could see the vineyards across the river miles away. One of the reasons why this place is so special to me is because, it was the first castle that I have ever been to and I got to experience it with my loving husband. What a romantic place to be celebrating 10 years of being together.
