Great Travel Moment

This was my first trip to New York City which was post 9/11. This trip reaffirmed for me what it means to live in America. It also reminded me how fragile life can be as I visited Ground Zero. I was stll emotionally overtaken with the 9/11 tragedy as I walked around to see Lady Liberty in full view. It was so amazing to see her for the first time at age 34 that I had to capture a closeup image of her face. The emotion and expression she displays is overwhelming and, I think, rarely acknowledged.
