Great Travel Moment

On a weekend cruise jaunt from Stockholm to Latvia, we decided to spend the day exploring Riga. Its old town is made up of cobblestone streets, open air cafés, and colorful historical buildings reminiscent of most old European cities. We arrived to a moody Riga with the sun peeking teasingly behind thick clouds. There was a photography exhibition right in the heart of Doma Laukums (Main Square). We spent the next half hour studying the exhibition. As we rounded a corner, there was a photograph depicting young adults at some sort of rave or party. Dressed conservatively in a long black dress, stockings, and covered toe shoes and also studying the same party photograph was an old Latvian woman. The priceless look on her face said it all.
