Great Travel Moment

We were warned that the weather can change in minutes at Rialto beach in Olympic National Park on Washington States Pacific coast. Hiking along the rocky and driftwood-strewn beach. We marveled as several sea stacks appeared and disappeared within minutes in the fog. The scene we found ourselves in was surreal and devoid of color, only shades of black, white, and gray. Again within minutes, we were engulfed in white fog, so thick that we bumped into visitors walking from the opposite direction. Lost on the beach we had to ask ?where is the parking lot?. We felt blessed that our cameras had captured a fleeting moment of beauty.
