Great Travel Moment Visiting Tobago had been a long time dream of my wife. She was not prepared however, for exploring the island with a rental car. Having spent two years in Peace Corps/Jamaica, I was used to the narrow roads, driving on the left, potholes, goats and locals who drive like... well, locals. Not so with Kristina. Still the beauty that was presented as we rounded yet another corner soon overcame her angst. Breathtaking views and gorgeous beaches were everywhere. But imagine our surprise when we came to this beach and found these two islanders had beaten us there. Two very contented cows, absolutely confirming the peace and harmony here. We happily shared the beach with them from the other end, listening to the birds, the waves, and taking in the sun like our neighbors. |
