Great Travel Moment

Native only to the Americas, every spring our family looks forward to the arrival of the hummingbirds to Colorado. We spend hours fascinated by their sustained hovering, rapidly flapping wings, and spatting over feeders. Having a high metabolism and heart rate, they typically consume more than their weight in nectar each day. Fixing a sugar dinner for them is rewarding, and many hotels in the area welcome them with feeders.
