Dream Trip 2008: MarchTurtle Freeing at Sunset, Monterrico, Guatemala

Great Travel Moment While on a college study away in Guatamala, we visited many interesting and unusual places. On this day, we took a long walk on the black sand of the Monterrico Beach to a nature reserve. At sunset, we each released a tiny little turtle into the sand. Using the setting sun as their guide, the turtles raced into the ocean. |
