Great Travel Moment

This is place we rested on our way to the source of river Yamuna in Uttarkashi districtof state of Uttaranchal,India.Out of nowhere right in the middle of this jungle in the himalayas I had booked a accomodation on this route.The food was supplied from the shack you see across the road.A village behind our rest house gave us the milk and supplies.The silence of the road which is traversed by thousands of vehicles every day this season of may pilgrimage was seen to be believed.I was lucky to stay here,amomng the chirping birds and whistle sof the pines around,in splendid isolation supported by the local village staff of the rest house.But the road seen from its terrace reminds me of the stay and the night we spent with our children even today..
