Great Travel Moment I consider traveling a privilege and a blessing. After touring the temples of Cambodia on a very hot day in May 2007, I stopped by a small family-run store to get a cold drink. The mother did not speak English but her 3 little daughters did. I gave them pencils, hair ornaments, erasers, candies and little pencil sharpeners. As I was about to leave, the girls held the sharpeners and looked at me seemingly perflexed. I realized that they had never seen any sharpeners like that before. So, I showed them how it worked. As you can see, they were in full attention. The girl in pink held the sharpener and pencil and did exactly what I demonstrated. One girl was standing next to me watching intensely. That was touching. This picture reminds me not to take anything for granted. |

Thank you, Wolff and Streetrod. Since my vision is unequal, I still have to use the reading glasses so as not to strain both eyes. Hopefully, by next month, I would not have to use the glasses.
