Great Travel Moment This was a fun photo taken while on a river cruise in Shanghai, China, conveying the motion of our dragon boat as we sailed along the Yangtze. It was evening, and the brilliant lights along the river were hypnotizing. Although it was mid October, we were relatively warm out on the bow deck, and the entire boat full of guests were enjoying the leisurely cruise, and the amazing lighted sights - huge buildings whose lights made them look like movie or television screens, boats carrying neon billboards, lighted kites flying in the night sky, and this, The Pearl. This was nearly our last evening in China, where my mother and I celebrated "sentinel" birthdays (hers 75th, mine 50th) together during a magical trip neither of us will ever forget. |

unique and artistic. I could hang this one on my wall! I haven't been to Shanghai since the middle 80's. Stayed in a chinese steel workers boarding house. Went back to chinese two years ago----remarkable!!! As is you photo! Great Job!
