Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken on the largest of the Aran Islands, Inishmore, in the west of Ireland. I had been living in Dublin for four months, and my sister was spending the last 9 days of my trip with me. We visited Cork, Galway and Belfast. When this picture was taken, it was the rainiest day we could possibly have picked for biking this island, which was a beautiful ride when I did it the summer before. We were both dressed in sweatpants and numerous layers. I was riding the bike and my peripheral vision was compromised by the hood on my rain jacket. When my sister hollered to get my attention, I turned my head, and this is the picture which resulted. We eventually gave up on the bikes and spent the day in the pub, being chatted up by some Italian boys.
