Great Travel Moment

Il Palio of Siena will always be one of my favorite memories of any trip. It was here that my wife and I discovered that it was still possible to travel with a six month old child and still see things that alter your life. The Palio procession inched past us on the narrow streets of Siena when I view this photograph I can still here beating of the single drum and feel the flags as they cut through the air. My little son sitting with his scarf supporting the contrada his eyes wide open taking in the colours and the sound knowing that in most likely hood he will not remember this trip as he grows but I will be able to show him this picture and tell him all about our trip to Italy and that will last forever.
