"they deffendently have never heard the rule, measure twice cut once" -Walter, my best friend who came to china on the school trip, commenting on the irregularity of the wall's steps. This quote the first thing that comes to mind every time I look at the great wall pictures. lugging my Cannon Rebel XTi and tripod up the never ending steps varying in height from 2 inches to 3 feet no no easy trip. we were both freezing and sweating at the same time. the true great wall experience can be understood by someone who has made the same 17 and a half hour flight. but for those who have not been to china and believe the Chinese to be un welcoming may change their minds after examining this image.
