Great Travel Moment Antalya was founded in the 2nd Century B.C. by Attalos II, a King of Pergamon. It has been continuously inhabited since then. It is the center of tourism in Turkey. Known as the Turkish Mediterranean, it is one of the most beautiful areas in the country. It nice mountains, lots of plants, deep blue water and a great location. Four of us left our tour group and went on an afternoon cruise on our own. This was the view from our boat as we were leaving the pier. This picture is a nice souvenir of that afternoon adventure. |
