Great Travel Moment

Crete is one island in Greece where you can spend a couple of weeks at. The E3 trail will take you across Crete visiting some old ruins, beautiful beaches and goats, goats and more goats. Hania, Loutro and Paleohora are some great little villages off the Mediterranean Sea, at least that's what I think the waterway there is called. The Samaria Gorge is a days trip in itself which we, luckily, were able to hike as they closed off the entrance to the Gorge within minutes after we arrived because of the massive rain that could possibly flood the gorge. Those stepping rocks in the picture were still above water as we passed through this area. We were really lucky! I would have hated going all the way to Crete to hike the Samaria Gorge, but finding out that the rains were too much to handle.
