Great Travel Moment After a long, troublesome trip to Sanibel Island we finally arrived at the hotel. No not our hotel of choice. We were notified that morning that they had over booked. Alligator Alley was closed & we had to take a local road, hence the speeding ticket. Not to mention the smashed bumper on my car while parking up against the boulders at this other hotel. But we got there & of course the room was not ready. We were directed to the bar to wait. Eventually, we made it to the gorgeous & serene beach and ploped ourselves down on some chaise lounges. It was magnificent. We stayed until sunset & enjoyed every moment. |
