Great Travel Moment On our last day in Munich, Germany, we took a side trip to Salzburg, Austria on the train. While the rest of the tour group headed for the fortress on the mountain, we decided to enjoy the less crowded sites. We stumbled across the St. Peter Cathedral and were amazed that you were allowed to take pictures. We shot this incredible statue of the Virgin Mary and it like the rest of the church, was layered in Gold and other fine gems and metals. |

I forgot to ad, the alter of the church has Laser alarm systems to keep people from walking off with things. There is Billions in gold in this church.

Salzburg is one of my favourite cities in the entire world. I have also,prayed many times for Peace on Earth in this beautiful Church. 5 stars for your photo .
