Great Travel Moment I was walking down the road from Dharamkot, a tiny Indian hill town, with a girl I had met a few days before who had recently graduated from NYU film school. The monsoon was in full swing at this point and misty foggy days like this were the rule rather than the exception. I remember rounding a bend in the road and seeing bright specks of color in the gray fog that covered the path ahead. As we approached I could see that they were Buddhist prayer flags. In the mist they looked so surreal, almost haunting. I remember being stunned by the ethereal beauty and being so glad that I could share the moment with a pretty girl from New York City. |
