Great Travel Moment When I met a hero of mine in real life I had no idea what I was in for. J. Adam Huggins is an incredible photographer (he works for the New York Times) and also a great guy. I met him in a restaurant in McLeod Ganj India. We talked for awhile and I basically told him that his was the life I wanted to live. Being the nice guy that he is he offered to take me along on a shoot he was doing. It sounded great so I put on some sandals and... hiked for 13 hours through the rain and sludge up to the top of a mountain (literally). We completed a hike that normally takes three days in one day without stopping. He got his shot and I got a lifetime worth of experience and knowledge. The above photo is of him trying to figure out if the scene is right and waiting for the clouds to disperse. |
