Great Travel Moment

Often, we miss what is special about our own area. In times when extended travel isn't possible, it's fun to be tourist in your own home town. For my daughter's birthday, we spent the day in the San Francisco together - visiting the Farmer's Market near the Ferry Building, taking the ferry to the North Bay, bumming around shopping, laughing and people watching, picking up a local deli sandwich and sitting on the rocks by the bay (watchin the tide roll away....) That night, we treated the girls to dinner on the Wharf and the prerequisite trip to Ghirardelli for chocolate (I DO have three women, remember).
