Great Travel Moment

I was staying on the outskirts of Arusha in Tanzania, Africa. Each morning, we would leave our lodge and head out for a new adventure. Our timing was such that we would pass this young man each day taking his herds to a watering hole a few miles away. At first, the young man was timid when we would pass by. Our last day I just couldn't resist. I pulled our SUV to the side and sat watching as they passed by. I gave a wave and a big smile. He started to walk by me when all the sudden he turned and flashed the brightest, warmest smile!! I felt suspended in this euphoric moment. Whenever I look at this picture, it takes me back to that feeling. The feeling of a simplistic happiness that can take place just from a single smile.
