Great Travel Moment

Our trip to China was with a tour group, which we had never done before. We usually like to travel alone, or with a few friends, to be able to go at our own pace. But China was a little daunting as neither of us speak Chinese! The group was put together to follow a local "cowboy band" called the Prairie Rose Wranglers. They had been invited to sing on the Great Wall of China. As we knew the members of the singing group, we decided this would be a chance of a lifetime. My husband had seen documentaries on the terra cotta soldiers and that sold him on the trip. I was excited to experience the overall culture of China. Neither of us were disappointed. It truly was a chance of lifetime!
