Great Travel Moment

I sailed with some of my family and friends from Monte Carlo, Monaco to Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Almost as soon as we left Monte Carlo I became VERY seasick. I went to bed with the lights of the city behind me and spent the night in bed feeling horrible. When I awoke the next morning feeling much better the western coast of Corsica greeted me. Later in the day we took our dingy to explore some of the caves against the shore. This photo was taken inside one of those caves. The black and white of the picture presents a stark contrast to the cave's vibrant colors. The color of the water is a miraculous light blue that is unparalleled in nature. After swimming in the cave my seasickness ceased. My photographs could not capture the color of the water; however the dramatic view of the shadows and the sunlight outside presented a light at the end of the tunnel.
