Great Travel Moment On August 02, 2008, we left the port of Miami, Florida for a Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Imagination. One of the stops was in Georgetown, Grand Cayman. Passengers went ashore in smaller boats called tenders. We observed that there were 2 other Carnival cruise ships at anchor as well and it was very impressive to see them together. After coming ashore, the first thing we did was take a walking tour around the area. All the buildings were so colourful, painted in shades of pastels. Everything was so neat and clean, the people were friendly, and the scenery was awesome. I couldn't stop taking pictures. One of my most memorable views was looking out on the harbour and thinking to myself...this truly is paradise. At days end we reluctantly had to return to our ship, but with fond memories of this place saved on my camera memory card. |
