Great Travel Moment

This picture was taken in May of 2008 and was in the celebration of our 15th anniversary. It had been 15 years since my wife and I were able to go on vacation without our children and we decided to experience the splendor of the island of Maui. This particular picture was special because my wife's favorite activity is horseback riding which she had not been able to do for many years. It was an amazing experience for both of us as we rode together up mountain hill sides and lava rock beaches. We can still close our eyes and smell the salty sea air and feel the warm tropical breeze. The picture partially represents the vivid colors and contrasts our senses were able to enjoy. The water was inviting but we dare not dive into it due to the turbulent shark infested waters.
