Great Travel Moment

This is a picture of an eagle ray off the coast of Maui. I had gotten up at 7am to be out on the reef by 8am. While I was out there, the ray swam over to the reef and circled around a few times before heading back out into deep water. It was one of the most amazing things I had seen. It looked like it was flying as it cruised nonchalantly by. I felt so privileged that I was able to be there at the right moment to see an animal I had previously only read about. I had never seen one before, because they are not commonly kept in aquariums and are not see too often on the reef. It was astounding, and I feel so lucky to be the one person on the reef that day to see it.
