Great Travel Moment

After a wonderful week in Beijing...Talking with, and taking pictures of the Students camping out in Tiananmen Square...We were devastated to wake up early on Sunday, June 3rd to hear the terrible news of the massacure in Tiananmen Square. Our hearts and prayers went out to the Chinese people as our bus made its way to the airport. Crowds of citizens on the sidewalks crying...And army trucks crowding the streets. The Students symbol of their movement was "The Goddess of Democracy" made in the likeness of Our Statue of Liberty...It survived in the Square for less than 1 week...We had witnessed History!!
