Great Travel Moment

While driving through the park with my cousin, he spotted two elk lounging in the woods on the side of the road. Since him and I were in the middle of a contest to see who could take the best photo of the day, we eagerly jumped out of the car and trotted into the woods. My cousin was a little timid of the animals, as he should be, after all, they are wild animals, and stayed back, capturing the scene as a whole. I decided to be a little more daring and creep up on the animal in order to get a good portrait shot. It wasn't until the elk stood up that I realized it's massive size and my tiny presence, and quickly ran back to the car. At least I got my shot!
