Great Travel Moment

After layering up for the Antarctic weather, we filed into zodiak boats to sightsee on some Antarctican islands. Starring into the black, icy waters was mesmorizing - yet more stunning was the submerged ice that caught light below and suddenly made the waters seem Caribbean with light teal shades. I was enthralled looking down but glanced up just in time to catch this amazing ice formation with our Russian ship right next to it. Seeing how we'd gotten there and WHERE we were was finally put together in my Antarctic reality by this picture.
