Great Travel Moment

I took this photo of our Westies, Mimi & Gigi, on a recent trip to San Diego. It's the only place we know of that has an entire beach where dogs can run freely off-leash. It's aptly named Dog Beach. This was Mimi's first time at a beach, so we didn't know how she'd behave near the water. It turns out that she's an ocean-loving dog that could run into the water, without hesitation, to fetch a chew toy, a stick or anything else that was thrown out there. I was snapping away with my camera and happened to capture this shot of them in a rare moment, running side by side...and in the air! This picture makes me laugh every time I see it, and it just reminds me of how much fun these "Baywatch" babes had running around the beach that day.
