Great Travel Moment I was in San Francisco on a work trip and had talked my now-fiance into joining me. As he took in the sites during the day, I conducted interviews. I got out just in time to see the Golden Gate Bridge with him. We walked quickly across the bridge, knowing it was closing for pedestrians soon, and our goal was to make it to the end and back. There was little time for dawdling to take pictures, so I snapped away while we walked. I love this picture because it captures trying to take it all in in a moment, like when you're in a cab on the way to the airport and you've had no time to see a thing in the city to which you've traveled. I also like how it captures the magnitude of the bridge, even with just a glance. |
