Great Travel Moment

We love the Dominican Republic and have been going there every couple of years for decades. This photo is special as years ago, this part of the country was quite difficult to reach and visitors were far and few between. Now, with good roads and more airports from which to travel from point to point, Las Terranas is booming. Hotels and villas dot the landscape plentifully and during much of the day, scooters and all terrain vehicles fill up the still dirt paths. Despite this abundance of development and attendant noise and commotion, enormous changes in the terrain that we have known, Dominican dogs seem totally non plussed. This pooch picked a spot near us to show just how concerned she was. I loved her for it.
