Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken in Isabel de Torres, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in February 2005. My husband and I had planned the trip months earlier but between planning the trip and going learned that he had cancer. We decided to go ahead with the trip and just be together, setting aside what awaited us when we returned home. Times like when this picture were taken gave us the chance to just be together and enjoy life and the beauty in the world. We talked of returning the next year to this spot when he completed his treatment. Sadly, he died almost a year to the day.
