Great Travel Moment

It was my 46th birthday - I believe everyone should be able to spend at least one birthday in an exotic location. We had taken the earliest ferry from Buenos Aires, so there were almost no tourists and the town was still and peaceful. This picture was taken as we walked from the terminal to the old part of Colonia Del Sacramento. The city was beautiful and the weather gorgeous. My favorite part of the day was around noon, after a morning of exploring, when we had seated ourselves at a waterside restaurant, ordered our drinks and watched the noon ferry arrive across the Rio de la Plata with the influx of day trippers from Argentina.
