Great Travel Moment

This memory is deeply special to me because it was the first time I got to visit Europe. I have always wanted to travel the world and in July I got the chance to visit Greece. It was also the first time I was on a cruise ship. The first stop on our cruise ship was the picturesque island of Mykonos, which is where this picture was taken. What captures you first is the sheer beauty of the water and surrounding mountains. The view was so magnificent that I just wanted to sit on the wall forever. In addition, my eyes noticed that most of the buildings are blue and white. You would think that if the buildings were the same color that they would all run together, but that was not the case on this island. The contrasting blue and white add to the beauty of the island. On my way home I sat by a Greek man who was from Mykonos and he told me that it was the one place I needed to see. After having told me that I was glad I had visited this breathtaking island.
