Great Travel Moment

My husband and I traveled to Egypt for a two week visit. I love all things Ancient Egyptian and have wanted to visit Egypt since childhood. My trip was made more spectacular because I experienced it with my husband, my best friend. We did not use an escorted tour, but traveled rather independently. We met contacts at each location, who handled our paperwork and arranged our individual visits to historical sites. In Aswan, we boarded our ship for a four night cruise down the Nile. We visited three different temples and traveled through the famous Esna locks. It was the last night on our cruise ship and we watched the sun set from the Sun Deck. We were sad that the cruise was coming to an end, but also looking forward to our next adventure in Luxor.
