Great Travel Moment

My friend and I were leaving a hotel casino in Vegas, when I decided a wheelchair was going to be kinder to my aching feet than my shoes were. On our way to the cab rank, we posed for a photo (as you can see). Afterwards, my friend says 'oh my god, I think that was David Coperfield'. I looked around, didn't see anyone and basically didn't believe her. I was oblivious that anyone had been near us. We browsed through the camera file and sure enough, David had seized the opportunity to 'appear and then disappear'. Like all of Las Vegas it was entirely surreal and makes me shake my head and smile whenever I think about that trip. (and we were able to confirm that David had perfomred in that hotel that evening). Later that night we found out our flight the next morning to New Orleans was cancelled. Katrina hit New Orleans the next day.
