Great Travel Moment

The sun was setting in the San Pedro de Atacama desert of Chile and a group of us made our way through the narrow foot paths leading to the Flamingo sanctuary where we would enjoy the bright colors of the the birds at dusk. After an interminably hot day in the driest desert on earth, I was glad to have arrived at "long shadows time", my favorite time of day. In this setting, the shadows seemed to stretch on for some distance and I caught this picture while enjoying that thought.
