Great Travel Moment

We watched a Chinese man practicing his calligraphy with a water brush. My daughter (who has never taken a day of Chinese language) was offered the brush to try. She wrote in Mandarin, "out" a symbol she'd figured out on her own. My niece and nephew each also wrote a word. The man was amazed and thrilled. We took a polaroid picture of him with the kids and gave it to him for his own memory. Special.
