Great Travel Moment

Xian, China; a combination of traditions and modern world . That was taken in september 2002 in Xian, China, the beginning or the ending of "La Route de la Soie". We liked the view of the Xian ramparts who crossed this city. We can easily imagine how it was before the modern world arrived. It was very fascinating to walk on these ramparts . On a single shot, taken in a sunny morning mixed with some fog, we could admire both the traditionnel and the modern world in beautifull China. It was llke a mirage.
