Great Travel Moment Clouds of dust, like a dragon's tail, were kicked up by the cruiser. With bandannas worn over our mouths, we often gasped for breath and hoped for the next rest-stop. The trail to Lhasa was long and winding. We climbed switchbacks to come upon panoramic vistas- mountainscapes, cerulean lakes, yellow mustard seed fields that glowed brilliantly in the sun and small, traditional villages. I snapped this image of one of those landscapes. |
