Great Travel Moment

Days after the closing of the Olympics Games in Beijng, I breezed into town on a 4 day worldwind tour of the area. We saw not only that China had openned up its window to the world, to showcase their new, modern culture during the Olympics - we were also privileged to see a window openned to it's ancient culture on the Great Wall at Simitai. A rare day, with no pollution and no crowds, saw the sun shine upon the magnificance of the Great Wall, in a moment of clarity, clean and pure.
