Great Travel Moment Last year, my husband and I traveled to Italy for a two week vacation. The first week we rented a beautiful villa in the incredible Umbrian countryside with family and friends. The second week we all went our separate ways. My husband and I headed south. We spent the end of our second week in Rome. On our last day in Italy, my husband and I took an early morning walk around our neighborhood. The streets were virtually empty. It felt as if we had the city to ourselves. We were a little sad to leave, but somewhat happy to be going home. On a small street near the Spanish Steps we found this religious icon on the wall of a building. This is just not the kind of architecture you see in our hometown. Sigh. |
